We have found two “traitors” among the Five Elders!
We have examined the “Five Elders”, the five highest authorities of the World Government in the manga “ONE PIECE”, and found two of them who will become traitors in the future.
Hello! I am KENTA, a Japanese who loves One Piece!
In this issue, we discuss “The Traitor of the Five Elders.
In the world of One Piece, scenes of betrayal are often depicted.
Come to think of it, Mami of the Straw Pirates used to be one of those who made money by betraying pirates.
Another famous scene is Squard, under the umbrella of Whitebeard.
Although deceived by Sakazuki, the result was to betray the big head, Whitebeard, and inflict a fatal blow.
One Piece has entered its final chapter, revealing the power of the “Five Elders” to rule the world.
We expect that one day some of the “Five Elders” will “betray” us. Who, if anyone, among the Five Elders will be a traitor?
Now, as “Five Elders,” they are under Imu and in a position to “rule the world,” but in reality, like Luffy, they want to “get rid of domination and seek freedom. I think there is someone who thinks so.
First, let me tell you the conclusion.
My guess is that there are “two traitors.” Shepherd Ju Peter” and “Jaygarcia Saturn”.
Let us now introduce this rationale.
Five Elders’ Model of Character
In the world of One Piece, there are many homages to model character settings.
A typical example is the character setting of Usopp.
Usopp is modeled on “Pinocchio,” the hero of Pinocchio’s adventures.
Lying lies have a distinctive long nose.
The lying lie is based on Pinocchio’s setting that his nose grows when he lies.
This is just a representative example, but One Piece stories often pay homage to the settings of their model characters.
With this in mind, let us look at two possible betrayers and models.
Shepherd Ju Peter
I believe the model person is former U.S. President Abraham Lincoln.
Lincoln was instrumental in the emancipation of slaves in the southern United States and issued the “Emancipation Proclamation.
Jaygarcia Saturn
Karl Marx was a philosopher and economist from the Kingdom of Prussia.
In the writings of Karl Marx, the working class’s emphasis on “freedom” and “equality” is described.
It states that the working class is placed in a dehumanized state and should be given freedom.
As you can see, the two models for this character match Luffy’s “philosophy” of “freedom without domination.
It is therefore possible that these two are the only two Five Elders who “actually dislike domination.
Foreshadowing in Zoro’s clothing
First of all, as basic information, the name “Five Elders” is a combination of the Japanese words “five,” “old man,” and “star,” and the name “Five Elders” is a combination of the Japanese words “five,” “old man,” and “star.
From this we can see that the Five Elders are related to some kind of “five stars”.
So, please see here.
In episode 221, there is a scene where five large shadows appear.
This shadow is assumed to be the “shadow of the Five Elders”. With this in mind, please take a look at the door picture in episode 221 of the same magazine.
There is a “star” in the design of Zorro’s clothing.
If you look closely, you can see a “crack” in this “star” mark, which is divided into “two” and “three”.
So this could be a foreshadowing of the appearance of two traitors among the Five Elders.
Scar on half of face
In One Piece characters, characters with scars on the left half of their faces tend to help Luffy when he is in danger.
Saturn St., whom I expected to betray me, has a scar on the left side of his face.
I think this is foreshadowing that Saturn Saint will eventually save Luffy.
Shadow on half of his face
As for here, it is a very detailed description.
The author, Oda Sensei, uses a line in the eye expression when a character is not telling the truth.
Here is the scene where Zorro did not tell the truth.
To put this in perspective, look at the scene between the two when Imu destroyed the kingdom of Lurcia.
The two eyes have lines in them.
This may indicate the unwillingness to destroy the Kingdom of Lurcia. Thus, there is scattered foreshadowing of the betrayal of the two Five Elders.
That’s all for now. What is your prediction?
Let’s take one last look at Five Elders.
Only two people are depressed and looking away from Imu.
It looks kind of sad, doesn’t it?
The “Five Elders” are too powerful for now, but I am looking forward to seeing what will happen in the future.
