The Amazing Truth! The mystery of natural energy that does not exist on the blue planet where Luffy lives!

Hello!
I am KENTA, a Japanese who loves One Piece!
This time it will be on a slightly larger scale.
We found a surprising truth about the blue planet where Luffy lives, where the story of One Piece is currently unfolding, that has been surprisingly unnoticed.

We believe that understanding the contents of this issue will help you enjoy the story even more in the future, so please continue reading to the end.

The blue planet where Luffy lives

Suddenly, on our blue planet where we live, the minimum necessities for a prosperous life are electricity, gas, water, and communication facilities such as telephones, right?
It is what we call a lifeline.
Of course, this concept should be common knowledge on the blue planet where Luffy lives, the setting of One Piece.
However, I noticed one obvious difference from the world we live in.

In fact, the blue planet where Luffy and his friends live does not use “electricity.
To be precise, the concept of generating electricity and using it as energy does not exist.
Let us explain in detail.

A world without electricity

On this present blue planet, all electricity as energy has been replaced by lightning, on the basis that “the concept of generating electricity and using it as energy does not exist”.

The travelator is completely human powered.

This elevator appeared, and as you can see, it was water power.
The Sunny is powered by cola energy, and Frankie is also a robot but uses cola instead of electricity.

Sea trains are also steam engines, and in telephones they are insects.

I thought they might be generating electricity because of the windmills, so I looked into it, and found that the windmills described in the One Piece world were older, before the idea of electricity generation was popularized.

The author, Oda Sensei, is obviously drawing an old-fashioned windmill.
The old windmills were used to pump water, not to generate electricity, so it makes sense that there is no concept of generating and using electricity.

From fire lighting to electric lighting

Here is the bar in the village of Fusha where Makino works in episode 1.

It is nighttime and there is no electricity.
This is by no means something I forgot to write, but rather something I intentionally did not write.
Basically, all the lights in this piece have been used as chandeliers or other types of lighting that are lit by fire.
Anyway, we are sure that the idea of using the energy of electricity to power something is not allowed to exist on this blue planet.

One Piece’s historical setting

The pirates in One Piece are all modeled on 17th century pirates.
There are many character models, like Edward Teach, Samuel Bellamy, and Ambonie, but they are all 17th century pirates.

As for lighting, after the 18th century, we moved from fire to electricity.
It was much later that electricity began to be used as an energy source.
In other words, in the story of One Piece, I think it represents the history of the transition to electricity.

Vega Punk’s Dream

In the world where Luffy lives, the concept of generating electricity and using it as energy does not exist.
A world where electricity cannot be generated is very inconvenient.
Conversely, if we can bring about a civilization of power generation through science in the future, it could have a very significant impact on the world in which Luffy lives.
Do you know what Dr. Vega Punk’s dream was when he appeared in the Egghead version?

A world where energy is distributed free of charge! The goal is to create “a world where energy is distributed free of charge!
“When the depletion of energy resources is met, the world will have one less cause for war,” he said.
In my past discussion, I wrote about “The End of Luffy’s Dream”.

Consider Luffy's [End of Dream]! That scene in the first episode was foreshadowing.

Consider Luffy's [End of Dream]! That scene in the first episode was foreshadowing.

Hello! I am KENTA, the administrator of this site, a Japanese who loves manga. Suddenly, Ace’s deathbed. Do you remember this scene? “I have one regret. I can’t see the end of your dreams.” It was first revealed in Ace’s line just before his death in episode 574. Even now, after more than 1,000 episodes, the specifics remain unclear. There have been numerous discussions about “the end of the dream,” but this time, I would like to introduce a hypothesis derived from a thorough investigation of the descriptions that lead to “the end of the dream. What is Luffy’s [end of dream]? First, let me start with a conclusion. Luffy’s [end of dream] is [to buy all the countries in the world and create one free country]. More specifically, [to help people around the world who suffer from domination, we will buy the world with the vast treasure we find in Rafteru and create one free country without domination]. If you are mute when you hear this, your reaction is the same as Robin’s! And if you think [there’s no way you can do it], I’m with Usopp! Please read them in order and see to the end as I am sure you will be convinced.

In this reflection, I wrote: “Luffy’s dream is to save the people of the world who are suffering from domination.
In the future, this energy issue may have a lot to do with Luffy’s realization of his dream.
