Hello! I am KENTA, a Japanese who loves manga.
Recently I have been wondering about Rocks D. Xebec.
There are too many mysteries.
The legendary great pirate Rocks, the greatest nemesis of the pirate king Gor D. Roger and the strongest in the world, is known to have united Big Mom, Kaido, Whitebeard, and others and turned on the world government like a terrorist with his ambition to become king of the world.
In this issue, we will discuss the reasons for the formation of the pirate group and its members, which have not yet been revealed.
Rocks is a mysterious family of D
First, let’s review the “currently known information” about the Rocks.
Rocks D. Xebec is the captain of the Rocks Pirates and, as his middle name suggests, is of the D clan, like Roger and Ace.
It is also known that Rocks is from the pirate island of Hachinosu.
However, at present, only a silhouette figure is available, and many details, such as Rocks’ face, age, and height, are unknown.
Navy Lieutenant General Monkey D. Garp, who actually crossed swords with Rocks, said, “It was definitely Rocks’ time before Roger.
Rocks is a mystery to me, and I was surprised to learn that Rocks had a pet in the past named “Marshall D. Teach”.

The Epic Life of Marshall D. Teach
This battle is the “God Valley Incident,” as they say today.
Rocks, although ultimately defeated by its Garp and Roger, would have been renowned as the “world’s mightiest pirate” more than 40 years ago.
In addition, many of Rocks’ cases are so “brutal” that they have been covered up by the world government.
Therefore, few people know the name Rocks today.
The formation of Rocks Pirates was inspired by a game
From here, we will discuss the formation of Rocks Pirates, which has not yet been described.
In conclusion, I think it is Davy Back Fight.
Davy Back Fight is a jinitorial battle between pirate groups.
In the 33rd volume of the book, Luffy and his friends are challenged by the Foxy Pirates on Long Ring Long Land, the island they arrived at after getting off the Sky Island.
The rules are simple, multiple games are played, and the winner can take a mate or pirate flag from the loser.
There are two main reasons to believe that Rocks Pirates was created by Davy Back Fight.
Born in Hachinosu Born in the Game Nest
The scene in episode 306 where Robin explained about Davy Back Fight.
Robin explains that the game “was born a long time ago on Pirate Island, a paradise for pirates somewhere in the ocean.
Later, in episode 925, the name of the pirate island is revealed to be Hachinosu in the scene where Kuroi appears as the Fourth Emperor.
As you can see, Davy Back Fight was born on the pirate island of Hachinosu.
Hachinosu is the island where Rocks Pirates was born, as explained at the beginning of this article.
If Rocks Pirates was also born on the pirate island of Hachinosu, the Davy Back Fight would have a lot to do with it.
Also, if Rocks Pirates was born out of the Davy Back Fight, then Sengoku’s description of the group as a “scavenged group” makes a lot of sense.
Whitebeard belongs to Rocks Pirates
The Rocks Pirates are said to have been a violent gang that was constantly killing their comrades.
Certainly, the group includes Kaidou and Big Mam, who later became the Four Emperors, and Captain John, who was considered a brutal pirate, and their reputation as a violent gang is understandable.
However, there is only one pirate who feels uncomfortable among the members who are finding out about the current situation.
That is Whitebeard.
His crime is killing fellow pirates, which is the worst thing you can do on a pirate ship.
They broke the code.
Blackbeard killed Satch, the fourth captain of the Whitebeard Pirates, and as you can see from Whitebeard’s line in episode 434, killing fellow pirates was considered an ironclad code in the Whitebeard Pirates.
Whitebeard also calls his comrades his sons, and even Squard, who stabbed him during the Summit War, says, “I will still love you.
It is very strange that Whitebeard, who is such a friend to his friends, belonged to the Rock Pirates, who are constantly killing their friends.
Also, see Whitebeard’s recollection just before his death in Episode 576, Summit War.
When he was young, Whitebeard said, “I’ve wanted something since I was a kid, a family!” He said.
This scene shows that Whitebeard has wanted a family “since he was a child.
In other words, it was before I belonged to Rocks Pirates.
It is natural to think that Whitebeard was forced to belong to the Rocks Pirates, and the reason for this was the Davy Back Fight, in which the pirates took the pirates away from him.
And Whitebeard belonged to Rocks Pirates 40 years ago.
In other words, since it was before the formation of the Whitebeard Pirates, Whitebeard, who belonged to the Rocks Pirates, became fed up with the Rocks Pirates’ killing of his friends and formed the Whitebeard Pirates.
It makes sense to think that the “prohibition against killing one’s fellow man” was established as an ironclad rule at that time.
This is my personal opinion, but I think it’s a bit flimsy if the pirates who were called the strongest in the world were actually members recruited through the “Davy Back Fight”!
It’s just like “Baggy” who rose to the 4th emperor by luck alone.
In my past discussion, I wrote that baby carriages are similar to Rocks.
Isn't it weird to always wear clown makeup? Consider Baggy's background.
I would be happy if you could take a look at this as well.
Rocks Pirates members
The Rocks Pirates were once known as the best in the world, and they have a group of members who are too strong.
Finally, I would like to introduce a few of our members.
Edward Newgate
Although few episodes from Rocks pirate days are described, Whitebeard indirectly recruits Kaidou, saying that Rocks wanted to meet him.
Charlotte Linlin
Big Mam was at Rocks until he was 30 years old.
We do not know when Rocks Pirates was formed, but Big Mumm’s child, born the year Rocks Pirates was destroyed in the God Valley Incident, is now 38 years old and has 16 sons, Mondor.
Kaidou
Kaidou owes a “big debt” to Big Mum, which, according to Kaidou, is “an old story,” but according to Big Mum, he owes her “a debt of a lifetime. But according to Big Mum, he owes her “a favor for life.
It was later revealed that Big Mamu’s big favor to Kaidoh was that he had given him “the phantom beast seed of the fruit of Uowo” in God Valley on the day the Rocks Pirates were destroyed.
Shiki
The only character who appears in the movie version, but is often mentioned in the original story, is Shiki the Golden Lion.
He was named as a pirate from Rocks who later made a name for himself.
The “Battle of Ed War” was fought 11 years after the destruction of the Rocks Pirates, when the Golden Lion was trying to bring Roger under his command.
Captain John
In addition to the Golden Lion, three other names came out of Sengoku’s mouth as pirates from the “Rocks Pirates” who later made a name for themselves.
One of them is “Captain John.
Captain John is a legendary pirate who once went to great lengths to bring back his treasure, so it’s a perfect fit for Rocks.
Shakuyaku
Shucky is a former pirate and is still good enough to single-handedly rip off these ruffians for an exorbitant fee.
And he himself says, “I was once chased by Garp.
Then, Rocks Pirates was destroyed by Garp.
Buckingham Stussy
Former Shichibukai Edward Wible’s mother, “Miss Buckingham,” has not only been confirmed as a former Rocks Pirate, but her name, “Buckingham Stussy,” has also been revealed. Buckingham Stussy” has also been revealed.
This is all that is known about the members at this time.
Rocks D. Xebec is still a mystery.
No doubt reminiscences will be drawn as the final chapter progresses.
I am very much looking forward to the future, as I am sure that the modern Rocks will be drawn as well, continuing the intention.
