Suddenly, buggy characters are strange, aren’t they?
He has been in clown makeup since his first appearance.
I always thought I was that kind of looking character.
But there is no such clown-like race in the world of One Piece.
In other words, he hid his face with make-up from himself, and we thought he was an important person who had to hide it.

I believe that Buggy is the son of the very big pirate, Rocks D. Ziebeck.
This would make Buggy a member of the D family, which is very interesting.
Who is Rocks D. Ziebeck?
Rox D. Jeebeck appeared in Episode 957 with an explanation from Sengoku. He is the greatest nemesis of the pirate king Goal D. Roger, the legendary great pirate who was the supreme ruler of all pirates before Roger rose to prominence.
The Rocks Pirates included such famous pirates as Whitebeard, Kaidou, Big Mam, Golden Lion, and Captain John.
To hide this identity, he may have deliberately worn a red nose.

④ “D” and “Rocks” hidden in the aliases.
The fact that Baggy’s full name has not been given suggests that it may be revealed in the future, but his alias in the Japanese version is “Baggy the Clown.
His Japanese alias is “Buggy the Clown.” The romaji version of his name is “DOUKE.
Translated into Japanese, it is,

“OUKE” = royal family
In other words, it would be the royal family of D.
⑤ Commonalities between Buggy and Rocks pirates
The similarities between the respective pirate crews of Buggy and Rocks are related to the similarities between their respective pirate crews.
First, let us compare the members of Buggy’s entourage with those of the Rocks pirates.
Alvida and Big Mam as a young man are similar in appearance and wear similar hats.
They carry the same weapon, a gold bar, as Kaidoh.
Also, Mauji is a fierce beast master, and Kaidou is the captain of the Hundred Beast Pirates, which is full of animal-based devil fruits, so they also have something in common here.
Based on these similarities, it seems likely that a character similar to Whitebeard will join in the future.
It is conceivable that Weeble, a former Shichibukai and self-proclaimed “Whitebeard Jr.” whose mother, Miss Buckin, loves money, may join the group in the future.
My consideration of this matter will become more and more exciting in the future, as Buggy has come a long way and has more in common with Rocks.
