  5. I'll tell you the secret of Guymon!

I'll tell you the secret of Guymon!

I'll tell you the secret of Guymon!

This time, a short discussion.

It’s not much of a discussion, but I noticed something interesting, and I’d like you to listen to it.

Guymon seems to have something to do with the last treasure, doesn’t it?

I’m sure it will have something to do with the final treasure, and I get a lot of comments about it in the comments section.

I’ve been getting a lot of comments saying, “The team hasn’t found anything on Guymon alone, so please find something.

So they searched a lot.

I mean, it only appears in one episode, and the only information we have about it is the door picture.

I was like, “Are you kidding me?

But when I found this one, I was so surprised that my eyes popped out like Perona’s.

Ralphie, you were Hanuman, weren’t you?

From there, I continued to research Hanuman.

Then I saw Hanuman the White Monkey in the Ultraman series.

He’s a boy who died once and came back to life as a god, he’s white, he’s a monkey, he grows to a giant size, and he’s just like that.

The episode of Ultraman in which the white monkey Hanuman appeared was released on March 17, 1979.

That was when Oda-sensei was little, right?

There are many other characters inspired by Ultraman.

For example, the Baltan aliens that we have all probably seen before.

This is Choki-Choki, Choki-Choki.

Ruffy’s model is Indra (god of thunder).

Inazuma, related to the god of thunder.

And it’s a crab.

Looks like foreshadowing of Nika.

There’s a lot more, but there was also Guymon.

This one is called Garamon, and it has the same head and hands.

Garamon is famous for its child, called Pigmon.

Surfunkle from Daimon’s door picture.

A woman in a barrel.

You mean a girl in a box.

So it looks like Surfunkle represents the child Pigmon.

By the way, in psycholinguistics, there is something called phonological inversion.

It is a kind of rearrangement of words to make them easier for humans to say.

In one of the papers in this field, I observed a misnomer called “Guymon & Surfunkel.

The original name is Simon & Garfunkel.

There is an artist named Simon & Garfunkel who had a hit in the US in 1975.

Guymon and Surfunkle must have been named after them?

This Simon & Garfunkel is also known as Tom & Jerry.

I know I’ve said this before, but it makes a lot of sense considering that Ralphie from Gearfice is totally Tom & Jerry.

And Garamon in Ultraman is said to be a friendly rare beast.

What a great name for the island that Guymon was on, Rarity Island.
